Abstract:   (5584 Views)
Biological indexes of zooplankton in coastal region of Bahrakan waters- Hendijan harbor were investigated. samples were collected using plankton net (45 cm and mesh size of 100 μm) during July, August, October of 2010 and December, February, April of 2011.Mean of Shannon diversity index was (1.95) over the year and the min of Margalef species richness was (0.98). The highest value of these indexes measured in July and the lowest was in the cold months (December and February). Mean of Hill evenness index was (0.75) over the year while, Maximum value of this index recorded in July and December and the minimum of this index was in October. Furthermore, the result of Simpson dominancy index showed high value of dominancy in February (0.43) and the lowest was in July (0.09).The results revealed that the July is different from other months of the year and in this month the ecological situation is better and more stable than other months in Hendijan shores waters. These results have a significant effect on the environmental management of shore waters of Hendijan.
