The right site selectin is a key factor in any aquaculture activity that affects its success and sustainability. Proper selection of aquaculture facilities from different aspects such as construction costs, production, outbreaks and mortality rates can affect the determination of economic costs. On the other hand, the limitation of water resources and the possible increase of water pollution caused by human activities have led to an intensification of the water quality control plan. Due to the fact that the control and modification of physicochemical factors in cage culture areas is not possible, then a suitable geographical environment should be designated for the culture of any aquatic species. In this study, physicochemical parameters and microbial contamination were investigated and analyzed according to the existing indices (Ishshirki, total fecal bacteria and fecal coliform) in the coast of the Chark port (with potential for fish cage culture, breeding of shrimp, and etc.). The results indicated that the average number of total coliform bacteria, thermal coliforms and the total bacterium in the water of the coast of the Chark port were 7 MPN/100 ml, 4 MPN/100 ml, and1000-900 MPN/mm, respectively which are favorable and suitable for breeding aquatic species, especially crab breeding according to the global standards.. The physicochemical parameters in the studied area compared to domestic and international standards indicated the optimal level of these factors for breeding marine fish.
