اندازه‌گیری کلرید جیوه برای نظارت بر کیفیت آب برای تولید اقتصادی، سالم و بهداشتی ماهی ضروری است. این تحقیق به‌منظور ارزیابی تأثیر کلرید جیوه بر شاخص‌های رشد، تغذیه، درصد بازماندگی و برخی شاخص‌های خونی و ایمنی بچه ماهی کپور معمولی (Cyprinus carpio) در سال 1402انجام شد. 900 قطعه بچه ماهی کپور معمولی (Cyprinus carpio) که از یک جفت مولد نر و ماده از کارگاه بخش خصوصی در رشت تهیه شده بود با میانگین وزن اولیه 0.15± 1.23 گرم (تانک/ 100 قطعه) بر اساس طرح کاملاً تصادفی در 12 مخزن پلی‌اتیلنی یکسان با حجم 350 لیتر تحت تیمارهای 1 تا 4 به ترتیب با جیره‌های یکسان و آب حاوی 0، 5، 25 و 50 درصد غلظت h LC5096  (0.89 میلی گرم در لیتر) فلز جیوه با 3 تکرار به مدت 8 هفته پرورش داده شدند. نتایج نشان داد بالاترین میزان وزن (3.22±17.28) گرم و طول بدن (1.08±7.48) سانتی‌متر در تیمار 1 (شاهد) مشاهده گردید که نسبت به تیمارهای 2، 3 و 4 دارای اختلاف معنی‌دار بود (p < 0.05). . همچنین شاخص‌های رشد شامل نرخ رشد ویژه و نرخ بازماندگی در تیمارهای 5، 25 و 50 درصد جیوه نسبت به تیمار 0 درصد کاهش معنی‌دار داشت (p < 0.05). . نتایج نشان داد که تعداد گلبول‌های قرمز در تیمارهای آزمایشی 5، 25 و 50 درصد غلظت فلز جیوه در مقایسه با تیمار 0 درصد روند کاهشی داشته است (p < 0.05). در این تحقیق بین تیمارهای 5، 25 و 50 درصد در تعداد فاکتورهای خونی شامل گلبول‌های قرمز (RBC)، هماتوکریت (HC)، میزان هموگلوبین، شاخص گلبولی و شاخص‌های ایمنی شامل ایمونوگلوبولین و لیزوزیم در نمونه‌های بچه ماهی کپور معمولی با تیمارهای 0 درصد تفاوت معنی دار وجود داشت (p < 0.05). ؛ بنابراین قرار گرفتن بچه ماهی کپور معمولی در معرض کلرید جیوه در سطح بالای غلظت  h LC5096  باعث تغییر در مقدار شاخص‌های خونی، کاهش رشد و درصد بازماندگی این ماهی گردید.
